Minnesota Vacation

We were so fortunate to get back to MN for ten days over Labor Day, it was so much fun!  Daddy even made it there for a long weekend to fish and hang out.  We enjoyed our time with Gramma Sharon, Grandpa John, Auntie Shannon, and Hayden (aka your best friend and cousin as you recently began referring to him!!)  We also got to see many aunts, uncles and cousins.  The weather was perfect - warm enough to be outside most days, do some swimming and then a few cooler days to bundle up and hit the park.

Some highlights from our trip:
* riding grandpa's Kubota (motorized 4-wheeler type machine) Ry LOVED it!!! He still talks about it and wants grandpa to send him pictures of it.
* Ry catching his first fish....this was adorable!  He was so excited and did such a great job being patient while we were out fishing. All of us were shocked as to how well Hayden and him did for being so little.  Ry did manage to put the hook in my arm at one point but other than that did great!
* his first toasted marshmallow - YUM!!!
* the scavenger hunt Auntie Shannon made - he still talks about the oval rock and raisins in the mailbox * playing and digging in the sand and in the sandbox
* kayak rides to go find snail shells - the boys thought these were the coolest thing ever
* Bennett Park and Sammy's Pizza - two of my childhood favorites
* racing cars down the long, steep driveway while I had a panic attack that he was going to smash his face in the ground :)
* waking up every morning to his cousin, he would be sound asleep and I swear he would hear a footstep and instantly be up and ready to play
*visiting with all his relatives and cousins
* going to the mine in Hibbing and seeing all the huge dump trucks and the scoops
* playing with the frog that Grandpa caught, Ry was a little hesitant but not Hayden :)
* Ry's frist ever Dilly Bar from Dairy Queen - he was in heaven (mint chocolate chip!!)

Here are a TON of pictures, of course I took a lot - plus we were there 10 days!!!!! ENJOY!
